After quite a busy year, I’ve decided it’s time to take a break from producing Funky House Finesse for a few months.

I’m sure there will be a few regular listeners who will be upset by this but it’s not the end – it’s just time to reflect on the year, focus my energy on a new lifestyle (after turning 30 and moving to our new home) and gather my thoughts on where to take my DJing career in 2011. I’m certainly not giving up house music, that will never happen – house music is bred into me, it’s part of who I am.

No doubt I’ll put together the occasional mix over the coming months, what with several other milestone birthdays due in October. As and when that happens, I’ll be sure to share them as part of the podcast and on the Facebook page.

In the mean time, just relive some of the fond memories from the last year or so, go through the archives and enjoy the many hours of funky house we’ve presented to you.

Finally, thanks for all your support throughout the years. It’s a real honour to know so many people get such happiness from the podcast. The love for house is strong – let’s keep it that way!
